Weekly Roundup #3
Happy Monday from the founders of Palette. We are switching over to Substack in true newsletter fashion. This week, we are coming to you with a new feature that will help you measure the performance of your polls.
As a reminder, the goal of this weekly roundup is to:
Spotlight creators & their use cases
Share what’s new with our tools
Creators & their community
Our creators are getting creative to learn more about their audience’s preferences, asking contextual questions and teasing their next article topic.
New & noteworthy
This week, we launched a new analytics tab that houses usage metrics about your poll. These analytics will answer the following questions:
How many people saw my poll? (Impressions)
How many total votes did I get? (Votes)
What % of people who saw my poll actually voted? (Vote Rate)
If you added a CTA, you can see the same metrics as above. Most importantly, you’ll see what % of your voters clicked on your link. (Click Through Rate, CTR for short)
Remember, people can only vote once on your poll.
Let’s walk through an example. Here’s a poll:
What kind of housing are you looking for post-pandemic?
Here are the associated analytics:
With these metrics, you can start drawing interesting insights about what content strategy is resonating with your audience and which CTAs are most effective.
If you would like to deep dive on your analytics with a member of our team, we’re happy to discuss.
